The subject of the project called "Beyond Borders" is breaking the prejudice about refugees and showing that we dont loose anything by sharing. Refugees cant even fulfill their basic needs. If they can't resolve educational and health requirements also, they would have to commit an offense. We have the biggest responsibility in this situation. Our workshops will be based on breaking prejudice, how to empathize, searching for solutions to decrease the crime rate.
This project took place between 26th Sep-4th Oct 2017 for 42 participants in Samos. Participants in the project hosted by Greece will be from Hungary, Turkey, France, Denmark, Poland, Austria and Spain
Participants will raise their awareness about prejudice and social exclusion by taking part in activities, workshops, work in pairs, group works and simulations during the project. Furthermore, intercultural dialogue and active citizenship will be also promoted with workshops and activities. Outcomes from the project are aimed to be disseminated in the local communities of the participants and on international level.
Transportation expenses of participants will be covered to the extent that EU Commission determines, accommodation and food was covered 100%.
Come to Greece and understand the European values where civilization started from.
